Tata Selo

  Tata Selo is an old farmer who killed his oppressive landlord for certain reasons, and was jailed for it. People all around could not believe at what Tata Selo had done to the landlord, as he was not known to be a violent person. During his time in jail, he was being investigated on his motives of murdering kabesang tano. We later find that it was more than simply kabesang tano making Tata Selo leave the land,  but more on having his daughter being sexually assaulted by  the landlord and resulting to his daughter being pregnant, as he was referring to her pregnancy as 'sakit' or sickness. As I have read the story, I feel nothing but pity for Tata Selo as everything was being taken from him.
